Conan the Barbarian (2011)

Now for me this is disappointing. I think Conan is too barbaric even for a barbarian. And the the teenage Conan killing four adult fighters? isn't that too much for a teenager?  Even for teenage-Conan?

The Conan we knew got a bigger body and wear less clothes, but this new one got it vice versa.:)

Conan's girl friend is told to be grown up in a monastery as a monk. But later in the story she do not act like a monk at all but indeed as a real barbarian princes, killing the bad guys and having sex with Conan sooner than we expect :). This flick got too much digital blood spilling, reminded me of "Wrong Turn". Too much fighting and killing and  gore scenes were shown throughout the movie without any discipline.

There is this scene in which the witch creates an army out of soil. Conan fight this but later retreat and manages to escape by jumping to the sea with his fiance and swim to his friend's ship. I expected the witch to create or summon some sea monsters to attack the ship and take the girl, but it seemed like her powers only work with soil and the only thing she was able to do was to watch Conan escape with gritted teeth.

Furthermore more i'm sorry to say this is just another warrior film which got a bad guy, good guy and the girl. and you can guess the end .Yep, boy meets girl ...happy endings!!
